@Animalww26 Everything is doing this, shortcuts, integrations, addons, no one wants to do anything it seems. Look at geometry nodes, creator plugins, even outsourcing. Most US companies don't even manufacture anything.

As a gamer, I care that work went into the game if I am paying for it. This is the same with art. If you pressed one button, your owed nothing and do not deserve credit, appreciation, or praise for anything that spits out. Sadly this is true for outsourcing as well. If you pay someone to make a game for you, you are not a developer, you are not a creator, you are just a publisher.

As a gamer, I don't care if the game is using AI. But a lot of players press and influencers are boycotting AI IN VIDEO GAMES. Even the Steam Next Fest was almost filled with them. If you care about wishlist, community traction, engagement, GET COVERAGE , and SALES don't make your game with AI 100% . At least no voice over, art, in development made with AI. I refuse to market a game that's made 100% with AI. I will start an event with games that are NOT using AI, looking for marketing,publisher or funding 🤝 I will market one game for at least 1 year !
