People are SO obtuse about this. Netflix canned the series prematurely, and when Marvel brought it back they knew fans were clamouring to see Matt & Fisk together again after so long. And the Mayor Fisk concept was RICH with potential. They made the right call.

ddba s1 lacked actual relevance & screen time of the side characters, ddba s2 lacked screen time of the MAIN character we should really get the 13 episodes back

everyone's dislike of this episode just shows the deteriorating nature of television this was a great filler episode in a space that no longer does filler episodes. if this was 10 years ago, people would have been raving about the character insights and moments we got out of it

Latest episode of Daredevil: Born Again was wild. “Arrest me? You can’t! Kill me? You won’t!” I love what D’Onofrio does with Fisk’s fingers when he’s so angry that he doesn’t know what to do with them, like a toddler - that desperation to grab something, to hold it, or break it.
