Lowkey tired of this recent anti property tax slopulism. Yes, even if your home is paid off you still need to pay taxes on it, just like you do with your car. You didn't build the land your house is on, it's a public good and should be treated as such.

This is a really bad argument because Massachusetts is not an aggressive gerrymander at all. It’s simply very difficult to draw a GOP district there. Its map was signed by a Republican governor.

Virginians are being disenfranchised by Democrats’ blatant gerrymandering. In just a few years, the Commonwealth has gone from one of the fairest maps in the country to one of the worst. Fair representation isn’t optional—it’s foundational. The Virginia Supreme Court should step in, defend the integrity of the process, and reject this power grab.
