@TheJacobBrown Serious answer about liability insurance for gun owners: 1) Most damage from autos is accidental 2) Most damage from guns is intentional All liability insurance, per a century+ of court rulings, is prohibited from indemnifying deliberate harm; this includes by autos, boats, etc.

Serious question: If one needs liability insurance to drive a car in the U.S., why is liability insurance for gun ownership not mandatory?

It is worth mentioning that Sketchers in Manhattan Beach is like an hour to an hour and a half away from where he lives in Calabasas. That’s a long way to drive for rejection.

@SajeevMehta Daily is insured with my employer. The two oldies are very much maybe 1,500 miles per year, each, although being in a warm state will likely bring that back up a wee bit.

@TheJacobBrown Clearly you need to check with Hagerty. Clearly I have a bias, but "we" even do modern classics...provided said classic isn't your daily driver (i.e. you have a daily insured with another carrier)

Recommendations for insurance carriers for two cars that carry a combined age of 67 years? I don’t know if @AAATexas insurance is right for them anymore.

Better fuel economy, better driving manners, more space, cheaper... There's no compelling reason for your average person to buy one, yet they do anyway. Fauxverlanding is big I guess.

@SpeedSportLife @AAATexas I think where this comes in is that they value my nearly 40-year-old car like a nearly 40-year-old car and not like how the market has continued to go. As a result, I am less than satisfied about a claim that I was trying to file. I think I need to collector car insurance.
