Knowing the token mechanics of stXRP and the potential for slashing, would you be comfortable participating in an ISO market that included it?

@FoxMetaCapital @Kinetic_Markets stXRP is an insurance token meaning you earn interest for providing cover for other defi protocols. If a cover is called the value comes from the stXRP pool (“slashing”). This means stXRP moves with the natural xrp price but also with the changing value of the pool itself.

@nickap0n @Kinetic_Markets @FlareNetworks Also, you supplied FLR into the primary market. This would not affect your loan in the isolated environment. You would need to repay the loan ( USDC ) in the specific isolated market.

Similar borrow lend structure, different assets, separate APY’s. One to support Flare users, one to support Soroban users 🙏

I see Soroban coming Q1 2026. So may i infer that Soroban will be the marketplace for more assets, outside of the flare network, offering the similar lend/borrow capabilities with their own APYs? XLM would be on the list among others? I think the confusion stems from the belief that the Flare protocol would be the bridge that allows all these other "non-DeFi" assets to be used as collateral.

And there is no wrapping scheme , they are completely separate protocols. You will be able to choose from the lander which network you interact with or toggle once you are on the app.

@ezip13 @Kinetic_Markets @FlareNetworks No it’s like a Kinetic thing. There are many instances of protocols existing on multiple chains. That is what we are doing. Think of it like a franchise. One doesn’t effect the other but they operate under the same infrastructure ( except in this case in other languages)
