Fishing inside your base or botting the fishing minigame doesn't align with the true spirit of fishing. 🎣☢️🐟 To get the best catches, you should be hunting down secluded spots and casting your line there. Plus, if you want to do things passively, fishing traps exist for a reason. So we've added an overfishing mechanic. If a certain amount of fish have been caught in the vicinity within a certain time span, the area becomes "overfished". In overfished areas, only junk will come up from cast lines. While I do commend streamers and creators for sharing their adventures in @playrust, excellent game design and unique gameplay experience is responsible. The same people who say “I made rust popular” don’t play anymore but talk shit about it. If you were the reason rust is so popular you wouldn’t have to tell people about it.

@code404_code404 @playrust I’d gladly play on a solo server if it wasn’t atleast 50% cheaters or teamers on there. Trust me. Been there done that. And hitting up randos in an lfg doesn’t count as playing with your friends. Majority of zergs are friendless losers who are bad at the game and need nerfed ASAP

@playrust Would love to see yall create a system where having over 4-5 in team ui makes your farm output -75%. So fucking tired of zergs getting to win EVERYTHING and kill server pop because sulfer is easier than ever to get. Any base under 3 walls to core is cooked is 2026 rust🙂🙂

@playrust Yes I would love to continue to fund a game who doesn’t give the slightest fuck about solo players or actual game enjoyment, and yes I have friends. I like playing rust solo, but teams over 5 deep are the reason every server is dead a week into force…

@Alistair_McF Alistair can we get a raid cost rebalance. It would be time. Back in the days only way to get sulfur was with nodes or quarries. Nowadays we got Trainyard, deep sea islands, quarries, excavator pit, teas and pies. I think that doesn’t help with progression at all.

@Alistair_McF Over 12 years of development and ur still using the same outdated anticheat that $5 daypass cheats get thru for weeks. Every big team plays with 1-2 cheaters and never catches a ban, I have so many clips of dying to blatant esp but you devs wanna keep sitting back and adding bs

Now, if you kill someone, you’ll be live-pinged on the map for 5 minutes and lose all sleeping bag spawns. Everyone will see you. If multiple players are involved, all of you are flagged. Your actions now also affect a persistent score: Repeat kills, reports, raids ↓ “Positive” behaviour, like waving to your neighbour ↑ Low score extends your ping, reduces loot, and limits spawns. EAC needs to be done away with, tired of losing any start I get to some ogre buying day pass cheats for $5. Also annoyed that I’m running a 4060ti and 7800x3d to see 110 fps if I’m lucky

Horse armor without shields is kinda ass tbh, and idk if it NEEDS a nerf rn. Loot volume for deep sea def needs reworked but its brand new so Id give the devs a break.

Make animals docile, fix their radius, or significantly reduce damage”
