There’s not a single circumstance where you could play Gennings Dunker at RT. He’s a pure guard and his tape is full of moments like this. His slow foot speed and lack of lateral movement are stark. He’s a nasty bully of a player but you better be sure his opponent is head on.

@OLCoachSmith63 He's a fun player, coach. His hands & legs are tied together when he run blocks, he plays with leverage & gets consistent movement. Technically in pass pro he gives up his chest, his punch is inconsistent & he can overset allowing rushers under him. But it's technique not talent.

I did not get a chance to watch nearly as much senior bowl practice film as I would have liked this year. But BC #71 is one that did catch my eye.

Here’s Bowry again causing chaos int he run game. Love how he redirects his hands during the goaline rep to torque the defender out of the club.

Boston College’s Jude Bowry is a work in progress in pass pro in terms of some of the more technical aspects of the position. But his run game tape is excellent. Half the plays seem to end like this, with him crushing a defense to the ground (he’s #71).

Just picked up a message from a contact at Alabama who has a really good read on the situation: The initial thought is that Ty Simpson DOES end up declaring for the draft. Certainly not a lock and it surprised my source, but that seems to be where he’s leaning @SiClancy
