I’ve seen this movie so many times that I can guarantee It will go like this:- The president will be shocked and there will be another commission of enquiry with committees and sub-committees totaling more than the actual money stolen. These senior police officers and generals will immediately be put on indefinite leave with full pay and benefits. The final report will eventually end up in the bin next to the Zondo report. No one will be prosecuted or go to jail. Please prove me wrong this time.

Education is dumbed down.Dumbed down education aimed at political pass rate targets means their r no educated people to fix these things.Educated people work, create jobs &vote wisely.

And there is no point having decent education if there are no jobs. Solve those three and there will be more money for education and better education. Positive feedback loop.

South Africa should be focusing on three basic issues. Nothing more. Crime needs to stop. We need accountable, localised police forces focusing on intelligence and investigator capacity. Infrastructure needs to be fixed. Privatisation must be embraced where possible to ensure efficiency. And jobs. With jobs, we solve our fiscal crisis, reduce poverty, generate wealth. Everything. And to get jobs, we need to cut red tape, and allow employers to hire and fire with minimal fuss.

So let me get this straight… The President denied Phala Phala and nothing happened. The Deputy President now also "denies" any involvement. Ministers get mentioned, they deny… then suddenly it’s lawyers, postponements, or they just don’t pitch at all 😭 At this point "I deny" is basically a full legal strategy in South Africa. No evidence needed, no consequences, just releasing statements. So what exactly is the purpose of the Madlanga Commission then? What are these AdHoc committees for if they can’t even subpoena the very people at the TOP to come answer questions? 🤔 Because it’s starting to feel like these commissions are just expensive Netflix series… lots of episodes, big drama, shocking testimonies… kodwa no final season, no accountability 😩🚨 We can’t have a country where the small fish are grilled and the big fish just issue statements from their offices and move on like nothing happened.
