ATL airport is as bad as everyone says it is. TSA precheck, CLEAR, nor digital ID is open so everyone has to go through regular TSA. The lines are wrapped multiple times. I will be calling my congressperson tomorrow cause they need to figure this out ASAP. This isn’t sustainable.

I have this radical idea:
How about we let airlines handle their own security?
They have the strongest incentives to screen out bad passengers while making the process smooth and seamless.
A third party like the government has no such incentives - and it shows. TSA is a resounding failure on all accounts.

It was literally the exact same process then as it is now. What makes you think private security would be any better? It wasn’t like it was staffed by a bunch of geniuses then. So you’re going to go through security being screened by a bunch of private dipshits who have access to all your info instead and that’s somehow better?
