Assam has around 34% Muslim population. BJP did not give a ticket to even one Muslim candidate. Congress gave tickets to 20 Muslims out of 99 seats.
Bengal has around 27% Muslim population. BJP again did not give a ticket to even one Muslim candidate.
The real question should be asked of BJP: why is one religious community being systematically excluded from electoral representation?
Instead, the propaganda question being pushed is: why is Congress giving tickets to Muslims?
Dividing people on religious lines will never serve India. Dividing people is dividing the country.
