I’ll give my view.
It’s absolutely ludicrous that a panel of former players and a PGMOL official can watch the replay and deem that this isn’t an own goal. Beyond ridiculous.

@_RP_77 @TomCantonMedia The ball bounced back into play and the goalie turned it in. The ball would not have ended in goal were in not for the action of the goalkeeper, i.e. it is an own goal.

@JakeAGriff Amazing how many people don't know the basics of football. It hit the crossbar and went back into play. It only went it because the keeper diverted it it. It is an off-target shot and WILL be reclassified as an OG once the Dubious Goals Panel reviews it.

@Maxiishim_ This is an own goal. There are countless of previous similar goals where the shot hits the bar and then the goalie before going into the net. All have been ruled as own goals. The same will be the case for this once reviewed again.

They admitted that Everton should have had a penalty at 3-2 and City should have had a penalty against and a red at 1-0 against Brentford. Even with this massive help to them we still won it with a game to spare
