I am a small business owner and if you raised the minimum wage to $15 an hour all of my employees would make $0 per hour because I would have to let them all go and close my business. That is the problem with the Left, they let good intentions trump reality. Outcomes aren't the metric by which their ideas are measured, intentions are.

I've been in Floridian 40°C heat and British 40°C heat, and the British heat absolutely mogs the Floridian heat in terms of unbearability.

@KMAG_YOLO It is, actually. Lived in Florida 6 years, and now the UK for about 10. The air feels heavy and dead here when its hot from the humidity. Florida there is usually move movement in the air and far less humidity apart from right after rain showers, which burns off pretty quickly.

@moraltreason @unlimited_ls The problem with your logic here is that you could replace "his infidelity" with any number of things - he wouldnt take out the garbage, he lost money gambling, etc etc, and NONE of them are enough reason for what she did. She was a psychopath. ANYTHING could have set this off.

@unlimited_ls It's easy to view the wife as a bad mom, murderer or even crazy. She is all that. But the husband caused this.
His two children are dead due to his infidelity. He will have to live with that fact for the rest of his life.

Autodesk’s fine has bankrupted our small studio.

UK ones are a tomato base and do not taste nearly as sweet. Franky, I don't like either...but the point stands. They are two very different things.

I really do think a lot of the American distaste for beans on toast is they think we're eating American, molasses-suspended BBQ candy beans. Like it really is insane the amount of sugar American beans have in them.

@beardedreviewer @TheScholastics I don't disagree, but the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Autodesk charged them €14k for a dodgy license that spanned usage over 23 days. Completely absurd.

@beardedreviewer @TheScholastics It sounds more like they bought on a marketplace they thought was trustworthy, and the seller was dodgy. I'm not there, of course, but it doesnt sound like they were actively trying to dodge the license, just find the best deal at the time.

@RaypEatNanaya Not impossible, but its also not an easy thing to pull of well. The power fantasy of top-down ARPGs is getting so strong you massacre entire screens of enemies in theatrical displays and then get showered in loot. Doing that in FP or TP doesn't give the same impact.
