Carer's Allowance in the UK in 2021 = £67 per week max. for providing 24/7 care (£1,400 per month in Germany).
£67! Things do not cost less for carers. It's way out of step with times and costs. It's totally inadequate.

Almost 8 months now since my wife died. I said I wouldn’t sort through her clothes etc until New Year. Today I tried, but had to stop when our dog recognised the smells I had stirred up and came running, looking, expecting. Tears flowed, again. Very difficult. #bereavement
