I agree hope isn’t enough and we still need participation and pressure on institutions, but disengagement only strengthens the status quo and we cannot afford to be disengaged because #they are the only ones who benefit from it. If anything, this is exactly when our attention and involvement matter the most. It won’t be easy but the cost of inaction is far higher than the cost of effort. No system improves without collective pressure. Stay hopeful.
