heads up we are upgrading @syscoin testnet to latest which includes blake2s DA hash, bitcoin quorum checkpoint service among other features, on which we will launch/migrate the official zkSYS testnet to as we prepare for mainnet release. If you are running testnet you may need to upgrade your node (just build from latest here github.com/syscoin/syscoin)

Hi all @syscoin community should withdraw their balances from @binance soon as possible, you should keep it in your own custody and not another exchange. Atleast for time being, we will also have new opportunities to hold/store coins within zkSYS but the best strategy is likely to start Sentry Nodes to help the network. Always remember not your keys not your coins. We welcome traders on exchanges but I do not recommend it as a replacement as a wallet to store coins long-term. Use @PaliWallet or Syscoin core. Ask for support within discord or our community channels we are always ready to help.

KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid is the model that works, its boring and not sexy but works. We did this at @syscoin but paid for it by being arb'ed against the constant meme markets and VC driven narratives centered around niceties rather than security/decentralization. With cryptography and advancements around ZK and simple settlement layers that are "boring" I agree its all possible but having the balls to do it requires resources which requires the board room meetings that allocatoors have to decide that safety is a priority now for the best of all rather than benefit of a few.

It’s funny what’s happening with crypto. Most of the things the cypherpunks were trying to achieve can already be done today.
But now that it’s possible, no one has the balls to actually implement them. Meanwhile, the same people pushing at the edge, trying to unlock the next layer of privacy, decentralization, or performance, can’t even see how much can already be done with what’s right in front of them.
