Hey @argenistherose, thanks for creating Zeroclaw. I run it on my homeserver (an old laptop) 24/7. Just a suggestion: it would be better to set up the official website/channel outside the GitHub repo, since some bad actors are using Zeroclaw as a shill/scam channel.

If you want your agent to retain its memory, update OpenClaw asap and add ‘autoCapture: true’ Memory is now opt-in. If you don’t do this, your agent loses all its context. Took me 2 minutes

One of my only gripes with OpenClaw is that it’s kind of slow. Today I’m going to be trying out ZeroClaw, OpenClaw rebuilt in Rust and optimized for speed. Seems insanely fast. I don’t know much about the creators but one of them is @argenistherose, he’s at Harvard studying CompSci Quick benchmark vs OpenClaw • Binary: 3.4MB vs 28MB • Cold start: 0.38s vs 3.31s • Status cmd: ~0s vs 5.98s • RAM (status): 7.8MB vs 1.52GB github.com/theonlyhennygo…

Just in case Gen Z is trying to understand what happened today: Claude was mogging OpenAI for weeks. Then this gymcel dev ships Clawdbot which was the fastest growing OSS thing ever, absolute looksmax for the whole ecosystem. Anthropic tries to dairygoon him with legal. Dev renames to OpenClaw. OpenAI slides in like a foid-pulling Chad with acquisition interest. OpenClaw gets acquired by OpenAI. Now Anthropic is getting jestergooned by the entire timeline and OpenAI is gigamaxing off their fumble. Anthropic could've just let him cook. Instead they went full moid and got outframed by the jestermaxxers at OpenAI.
