This game sucks so bad. Hate whenever Batman is a shallow power fantasy for the player to relish the casual cruelty with.
If it really made you "feel like Batman" your heart would be bursting at the seams with every tragic villain you put behind bars. Batman isn't a misanthrope
The Spaceman@GothicHeros
You can tell Batman is absolutely done with everyone by this point in Arkham City. He just casually walks over, RIPS a critical piece of Freeze's life support system straight out of his chest, and dumps it on the dirty floor.

I worked as a street guard on this scene. Dozens of pissed of people not being able to get to work. Director didn’t smile or say good morning once to any of the crew receiving complaints about his production.

Why are people so incapable of accepting that a young kid directed a movie
The CinemaTologist@TheTologist
Promising but we all know Kane Parsons absolutely didn’t direct this movie. But the needle is moving in the right direction.

@Millexcel2 this is completely wrong because this movie actually feels like it's directed by a 26 year old
English

I read somewhere that Blumhouse got this young kid to act as kind of a "face" for the film while a more experienced director was behind the scenes actually putting the work in.
You ever hear of Milli Vanilli? Sort of like that.
John Wang@j0hnwang
the director of obsession is 26 years old and the entire movie was shot in 1 month???

@regularaugust I think this is what happened with Vincent Gallo's "Promises Written in Water"

at a certain point i get mad at people for not having the foresight to tell if a movie will be good or not just off the title and poster, like why are you only watching movies called shit like Mr Mcgoo Takes Manhattan and wondering why it’s bad

@MacReadyIsHot @Caol_MacCormaic I dont remember the last i saw/heard anyone talk about it tbh
English

@ThePerfectGoof @Caol_MacCormaic I feel like Whiplash is just always going to be talked about. It definitely feels like a classic already and will be considered one in the future.
English

@Caol_MacCormaic I really can't imagine future generations caring that much about Damien Chappelle (Whiplash and La La Land specifically)

@anarchapatricde Watch she killed in esctacy (1971) its a very good movie i like that movie
English

@ThePerfectGoof assuming you have a chode and moving on w my day
English

@anarchapatricde the fact that it's a wish fulfilment male fantasy without any actual sex actually makes it pervier than any sexually explicit film and if you can't see that I can't help you
English

@anarchapatricde wants pervert movies but complains when movies are made by actual perverts. make that make sense. (also when was kubrick ever a sex pest?)

people will always try to say something is Lynchian but the Scooby Doo movies are actually Lynchian

@DriplessFlame @weskersmalew1fe The game staying niche and true to its original identity as a slasher homage is a hundred times more preferable to me than the tacky fornite-esque IP fest it is now
English

@ThePerfectGoof @weskersmalew1fe If they did that then there wouldn't be this many collaborations right now and people would get bored real quick. Video game licenses like Resident Evil and FNAF broke steam records on DBD for a reason.
