@NeilandBradley if you are relying on prizing to pay for the event, you probably could not afford to go regardless, and you certainly should not be relying on it to pay for the event, even the best have bad days and walk away with nothing.

This just takes me and Bradley out of the equation, seriously don't understand how they expect parents with children to continually afford these events, with travel, accommodation, park tickets etc When I become a millionaire I won't think twice about doing these events!

@LorcanaHabibi NA and EU DLC production has the added benefit of recording matches and having the casters talk over the recordings. They also both record backup features as well. Also I wouldn’t be surprised if the SEA events are operating on a smaller budget which plays into the dead air time.

The bar was set. 🔥 But then you have events like Taipei… hours of dead air, “stream starting soon” screens, and zero interaction. Little to no updates, no filler, no energy. That’s how you lose viewers/fans Meanwhile, smaller orgs are showing how it’s done 👇 Shoutout to @IllumineerCL & @_proplaygames - smaller teams, tighter resources, but they keep the streams ALIVE between rounds! Player interviews, desk talk, mini games, giveaways, community/chat interaction… you’re never just sitting there waiting. People don’t expect perfection - but they DO expect to be entertained. this is coming from a place of love for Disney & Lorcana. We’ve already seen the ceiling with Ghent — which is exactly why it’s frustrating when that level isn’t maintained.

@elorcana @EdLorcana Intersting to see that most of the top 100 have similar win rates, however the number of total matches drops off fairly sharply after the top 10. makes you wonder if they are actually that much better then the rest of the field, or just getting to more events.

@NicolasBeland11 @gaspa_tcg to be fair, Australia is also far more isolated then Canada. it would be nice for you to have a DLC(s) of your own, but its still more reasonable for you to travel to the NA events then for Australian's to get to any others.

@gaspa_tcg thats 1 more than canada XD but personnaly , i think its should be based on market . every EU and NA event in 2 year was capped at 2k ( few of them where 1 k at start ) australia had less than half of the smallest dlc . if the only one in canada last year didnt come close to cap

@TFMDan_Lorcana Sadly its a simple case of AU not getting support from RB. We are very much treated as an afterthought by them, even saying Ghent was the next DLC in the weeks before Melbourne. At least we had JDZ come down to support the event and stream it for us.

Watching the DLC Taipei vod this morning questions for the audience. 1. 365 player CCQ but for a worlds invite thoughts? 2. 🟣⚪️ 3rd most played deck, on stream for the first 4 rounds? 3. It’s getting hard to listen to people half committed to the game talk about the game.

@ThePhilderbeast Qwen 3.5 is surprisingly good at the 27b size. For agentic work its tool calling is amazing. The 30b coder version is pretty good for code. Both work on a decent Mac or 5090 at speed.

@boyter what I would love is a capable local LLM, that would solve a huge number of problems for me, but anything remotely capable of what I need can't be run locally.

@boyter yep, I have certainly found uses for it, its great for getting projects setup and getting lots of the early work out of the way. But for the majority of my day to day work it causes more issues then it solves or its straight up to risky to give it access to those projects.
