For the purposes of fairness, I would fully support the Somalian Government deporting any British people living in Somalian social housing. They can have their Somalians, we’ll have our Brits back. A one-sided deal, that’s for sure.

Since leaving the forces, I’ve had zero interest in politics, especially after seeing how previous governments treated our veterans. I went under the radar and isolated myself. I found social environments tough, lost my speaking confidence, and constantly felt judged or like I didn’t fit in. It was easier to just go to work and retreat into my own little family bubble. If you’ve ever woken up with that gut-wrenching, absolute dread/fear, that’s how I felt every single day. I was constantly self-judging, worrying I looked like an absolute fud to everyone around me. But then, out of the blue, I decided to join @RestoreBritain_. I was sitting at home, absolutely raging at the state of our country, and I needed to do something. I attended my local branch meetings and started volunteering on community projects. Meeting these guys and lassies has honestly been a breath of fresh air. I’m getting out of the house, socializing, and if anything felt the total opposite of judged. I did a recce for an upcoming project the other day, just out walking and chatting, and it truly cleared my mind. My confidence is growing every day. I know I’ll need to speak up about this page and why I set it up eventually, and I’ll be taking the lead on our upcoming project, 'Operation Remember'. With the people I have around me, I know I'll achieve those goals with no problem at all. To any veterans out there who are feeling this exact same way: please, don't sit at home in silence. You will be amazed at what you can achieve with like-minded people around you. Join your local Restore Britain branch.
