@ShiftyGirl91 @GeoffSmitH17492 @saltyreigns At that point I think segregation of people based on vaccine status was harmful, and needed to be reviewed. There was some hard data from Harvard in September of 2021, they found no link between vaccination rates and daily cases in 64 countries.

@ShiftyGirl91 @GeoffSmitH17492 @saltyreigns I think hard data is important, but it can also hinder. For example, after a while it was pretty apparent that the vaccine had an extremely modest impact on transmission, vaccinated and unvaccinated were catching and passing the virus.

I’d add the 80% of Otara residents that didn’t vote to the culprit list.

Recent trip to Queenstown saw this a lot, most hospitality venues desperate for staff and needing to reduce operating hours to cater for staff numbers. Hotels reducing occupancy to cover lack of staff too.
