I don’t trust dirtsheets or accounts with Wrestle in their title but let’s play a game. If McAfee’s promo was completely off script (and I really hope it was) and that caused Cody to have that promo later then give me more of that. And it’s actually believable to me. Very few writers in wrestling have the ability to write that kind of stuff. I also changed my promos and the talent like Pat or Cody who are great on the mic can deliver moments like that. During the attitude era top promo guys would free style and do their own thing. That’s wrestling. Not rereading words on a script that a 22 year old kid fresh out of college can’t possibly have the ability to feel in order to write.
