Today, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear a challenge to Cook County’s assault weapons ban. My statement:

@ArmedJ0y The ruling is going to be lukewarm giving plenty of room for states to fuck around. If it is actually strict and absolute, I'll be surprised.

Yeah the blackpill was that because the outcome would be obvious, Roberts would never allow a case to be taken at all. That is true, and felt like a possibility. Now that we have the case brought forward, the bans are getting struck down. We have 4 justices on the record being against them already. 6-3 decision is a comfortable prediction. The question is going to be how the ruling is worded, that's where all you sad boys can play around and doom about still.
