As he was turning his knees bent lowering his helmet and upper body right into where the defender was trying to hit him. Where his chest level was a split second before. Thats why the officials didnt call it targeting. Because they agree with me. Only casual fans are saying its targeting.

I have watched every college football game that matters — and tons that don’t — for the entire targeting era. How is this not targeting? Legit would love to hear this explained. It’s textbook.

The offensive player lowered his helmet into the facemask of the defender. The defender was going for shoulder/chest area. If this is targeting then every offensive player will start throwing their helmet into defenders as they are about to be tackled. For someone who watches all these games i feel like you should know the answer to your question.
