An emotionally sickening subject to speak on - so I apologise if I did not present it smoothly - but the new abortion amendment is monstrous.
In all but name, it allows women to abort their babies up until birth.
Ten million souls on from the Abortion Act 1967, the progressives have been left unsatisfied in their quest for “women's empowerment” beyond all other things.
Granted by an amendment otherwise unrelated to abortion, women have just been made exempt from any legal repercussions that would hitherto have saved the life of the unborn. It was rushed through the Commons in 46 minutes and after insufficient debate, will be put before a Christian king, and Defender of the Faith for royal assent. Every detail of it is perverse and a mockery of the moral fabric of humanity.
It is a dark event. We can only hope that in the next few years we may find a government that will champion the defenceless, so that they may have the opportunity to experience life, and all the enchanting joys and sorrows that come with it.

Got on a train this morning with a man who spent the journey screaming threats and spitting in the face of someone he took a dislike to for "looking at him". Deeply unpleasant.

The Bishops of the Church of England are clearly not spiritual leaders - it is time to replace the Church of England with another Church; so that Christianity remains the nations established religion; but the useless CofE is replaced by an effective Church. Such as GAFCON (an Anglican Church body) or even the Roman Catholic Church (an even older historical Church of the land).

It’s extremely disappointing that only 43% of the Lords Spiritual turned up to vote tonight in the debate on full term abortions. If such low turnouts for debates on crucial moral matters persist, something must be done to give the vacant seats to bishops who are able to commit.

@firasmodad @tleilax___ JIT is a nightmare for everyone except the shareholders.
I'm glad to no longer work in a JIT environment....the inevitable stress of delays always lands on the shoulders of the low paid member of staff taking the order.
For stability and national security JIT is unacceptable

What you're seeing, from COVID to tariffs to the Iran War, is that Just in Time must be replaced by Just in Case. Now you need abundant and redundant supplies to maintain stability, but, if the entire economy and therefore political system is thinking in quarterly dividends, it can't work.

Interestingly there used to be pipelines bypassing the Gulf towards the Mediterranean.
Problem is Lebanon, Israel, Palestine and Syria come with their own stability issues. So there is an economic case with restarting/rebuilding them, but costs are high.
Going across the Egyptian Sinai would be best but unlikely the Egyptians would agree as this would hurt the Suez flow and their own Sumed pipe.

If the King does nothing to challenge this, then he has abdicated his principal responsibility as Defender of The Faith, and as supreme Governor of the Church of England, he cannot remain silent on this any longer!

Perhaps the @churchofengland might now have the guts to admit that they have been very wrong for welcoming worshippers of another religion into their places of worship!
I’m waiting for the bishops to admit they were wrong…because they’d better start fighting for the Church in this land…and for the Christians they have maligned and attacked for the last 18+ months…!!
If they don’t, then the TREACHEROUS COWARDS MUST BE REMOVED…and the warrior bishops must make a stand for the church again…!!
