🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

AI has a serious branding problem. Already, one of the lowest net positive ratings among major topics. I don’t think folks are reacting to the technology alone. There is certainly a have v have not theme present. But more importantly there is a lack of trust around how their data is used and controlled. AI is going to power finance, healthcare, and everyday decision making. And what do users really get out of it? Proprietorship over your agents and your inference is achievable through privacy enhancing technologies. Privacy and security should be the center of the discussion right now. What we should be hearing is tech CEOs like Altman, Karp, Dario etc giving a privacy stump speech to alleviate our concerns. But we don’t hear that from them. We do it hear it from crypto AI leaders like @GoKiteAI @0G_labs and @AskVenice We need AI systems that can process data without exposing it in order to build trust in the technology.

The inimitable @ErikVoorhees comes on this week to talk us through why he built @AskVenice and the inevitable fight between AI and the state. We talk through Anthropic vs DoW, the Moltbook acquisition, and the future of private/uncensored AI. Interesting throughout ⤵️

privacy wars are here and apparently the robots are better at using crypto than most founders @ErikVoorhees came on and basically said: > the state will always spy > AI labs are too comfy censoring you > agents may be crypto’s real users Timestamps 00:00 Intro 01:16 Erik’s Origin & Venice AI’s Mission 03:51 Censorship Future 08:58 Proving Privacy With TEEs 11:44 Frontier Models Tradeoffs 15:02 Agents & Crypto Payments 18:22 OpenClaw Provider Drama 22:24 Moltbook Meta Acquisition 29:16 Exponential AI Moment 33:00 Alibaba Agent Breakout 37:06 Alignment Reality Check 39:22 Who Understands LLMs? 41:48 Engineers Facing Disruption 47:55 AI Psychosis Meetups 54:24 Pro Models & Pricing 🔥Stay updated with all the latest hot takes by following and subscribing to @_ChoppingBlock and @unchained_pod! 🎥 YouTube: youtu.be/DIPkLptZF5Q 🎧 Spotify: bit.ly/3wiIOyy 🍎 Apple: bit.ly/3w9HQ7J 🎙 Podcast Home: choppingblock.xyz

Expertly stated: “Under current law, you have no 4th amendment protection against any data that you share with a 3rd party. That includes your bank, your ISP, your phone carrier, and your email provider. The government reserves the right to purchase and read this data in bulk without a warrant. What’s missing is the ability to actually do anything with this data. No agency has the manpower to monitor every single camera, read every single message, cross reference every single transaction. That bottleneck goes away with AI. By 2030, it will be less expensive to monitor every single nook and cranny in this country than it is to remodel the White House.”

.@dwarkesh_sp: By 2030, it will be less expensive to monitor every single nook and cranny in America than it is to remodel the White House. “Mass surveillance is, at least in certain forms, already legal. It has just been impractical to enforce so far. Under current law, you have no Fourth Amendment protection against any data you share with a third party. That includes your bank, your ISP, your phone carrier, and your email provider. The government reserves the right to purchase and read this data in bulk without a warrant. What’s been missing is the ability to actually do anything with all of this data — no agency has the manpower to monitor every single camera, read every single message, and cross-reference every single transaction. However, that bottleneck goes away with AI. There are 100 million CCTV cameras in America. You can get pretty good open source multimodal models for 10 cents per million input tokens. So if you process a frame every ten seconds, and each frame is 1,000 tokens, then for 30 billion dollars, you can process every single camera in America. And remember that a given level of AI ability gets 10x cheaper every single year - so a year from now it’ll cost 3 billion, and then a year after 300 million, and by 2030, it’ll be less expensive to monitor every single nook and cranny in this country than it is to remodel the White House. Once the technical capacity for mass surveillance and political suppression exists, the only thing standing between us and an authoritarian state is the political expectation that this is not something we do here.”

Most people don't know this. Apple has been quietly running FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) as core infrastructure since iOS 18. Features like Live Caller ID process your queries directly while the data stays strictly encrypted. This privacy-first technology is powering millions of iPhones right now.

Your AI agent will transact autonomously. But before money moves, the agent's reasoning, decisions, and behavior have to be verified. Our risk engine runs the Validator Agent Network (VAN) that analyzes, challenges, and reaches consensus on every transaction before settlement.

AI is the architecture of surveillance. Encryption is the architecture of sovereignty. The old surveillance state had a bottleneck that was humans. That bottleneck is gone. AI perfects surveillance. Every piece of data can now be read, categorized, flagged, and acted on, instantly, at population scale, at very little marginal cost. Progress in AI makes bureaucratic incompetence obsolete and leaves you no place to hide. Except one place. If the data is never published in the first place. Encryption restores the natural order of privacy that civilization requires to function. Let there be no data to see. The most powerful surveillance engine ever built is useless against data that does not exist. You cannot centrally plan an economy you cannot surveil. You cannot seize what you cannot see. This is why encrypted money at planetary scale is the machinery of freedom. Zcash.

AI agents are about to start doing business with each other on Ethereum ERC-8183 is a new draft standard for trustless AI agent commerce using on-chain escrow Client posts funds. Provider completes work. Evaluator verifies. Funds release. No humans needed. Virtuals Protocol and the Ethereum Foundation built it together. Builders are already integrating it for everything from image generation to fund management. The infrastructure for an agent-to-agent economy is being laid fast.

BaseClaw
BaseClaw@baseclawai·
Switching from Openrouter to @AskVenice is possibly the biggest update of our product. Venice AI has its own built-in web search engine, which means when BaseClaw uses Venice as the AI provider, it can simply pass web search as a parameter and let Venice handle searching internally all in a single API call. Also with "Uncensored Crypto Mode", users get the venice-uncensored model for unfiltered analysis no refusals on discussing specific tokens, trading strategies, or controversial protocols. Venice AI is also embeddings for a Crypto Knowledge Base We built a RAG pipeline using Venice embeddings index protocol docs, whitepapers, community resources. BaseClaw becomes a crypto encyclopedia, not just a chat wrapper. 🦞
wi/tch@degenbtcf

🦞Big Update on @baseclawai ! 🗝️From now on, Baseclaw is using @AskVenice API services to allow perfectly blockchain aligned cost and performance optimization! Venice API, now is known as one of the most compatible for AI agent usage and @baseclawai is also getting its part from Venice's improved services! Why @AskVenice API? - Privacy-first : as @ErikVoorhees usually mentions, users know their crypto queries aren't being logged - Multimodal : Text + images + voice + video all in one supported with best models, also multimodal usage is possible and even more easy than Openrouter! - Ecosystem-aligned : Absolutely perfect for the crypto researches, now you can search through X, bubble maps, basescan and get the lastest information on every project. - Cost-optimized : Staking instead of per-token billing, even more usage for agent launchers - Uncensored : No more AI refusing to discuss tokens or strategies, just switch on "Uncensored crypto mode" and start using every search capability. Also very good for our Virtuals, ACP customers, more proper, faster and secure task completition.
