Is it time to ban the export of our crops? I hope everyone is ready to go on new diets for 2026-2027. It’s gonna be wild if farmers start filing for bankruptcy all over the place. No fertilizer means extremely low crop yields.

Let’s talk about Khaled Daher. A paramedic in Lebanon’s Civil Defence. Not a fighter. Not a “target.” A first responder who ran toward danger to save lives. Two days ago, he was killed, along with two of his colleagues, when they were directly targeted while trying to rescue a civilian trapped under rubble. But his story doesn’t start there. Khaled wasn’t just a paramedic. He was the backbone of his family. After his brother died in Bulgaria, he went searching for him, across borders & through uncertainty, until he finally located his grave & brought him back to Lebanon, where he laid him to rest. He then became a father figure to his brother’s daughter, raising her as his own, carrying a responsibility that wasn’t his to bear, but one he chose anyway. He was a son, a brother, a provider, a quiet pillar holding others up. And in the end, he died the same way he lived, trying to save someone else. Khaled Daher didn’t just lose his life. His family lost their support. People lost the man who showed up when everything else fell apart. His niece has now lost both fathers. Khaled spent his life saving others. He was killed while doing exactly that. This is what is being lost. Over 103 medics and rescue workers have been killed since March 2. Not numbers. First responders. Lives that held other lives together.

Something that I think has become more pronounced among the current cohort of neoliberals/centrists is a clear disgust for the concept of understanding things. Why did 9/11 happen? October 7th? United CEO murder? Any answer other than "bad people are bad" shatters their world.

@mattyglesias @Mark_J_Ryan @MaxNordau Israel’s line in the sand is that the Palestinians need to put a hard stop to attacks on Israel. Both the PA and Hamas continue to fund such attacks. Why would Israel negotiate with anyone who wouldn’t be able to put a stop to that?

Graham Platner: “In 1990 there were fewer than 80 billionaires in the US. Today there are over 900. Do you see a state of Maine that is 10x wealthier than 1990? Have our wages gone up 10x? Do we have 10x the schools? 10x the hospitals? No, we have less. The money went somewhere and it wasn’t down here. it was stolen from us in a rigged system”

NEW: The families of more than 100 school children killed in the U.S. bombing of an Iranian school have written a letter of gratitude to Pope Leo XIV. In it, they thank him for being a champion of peace and a voice for their deceased children. The White House has yet to apologize for the incident.

This is so rich coming from Jamie Dimon. It's the sound of a man who rode the China gravy train to the end of the line, pocketed the loot, and is only now saying the "right things" because it led his country straight toward a cliff. He and his fellow elites sold out America's industrial heartland, its workers, its security, and its future, all while making themselves and some commies very rich and powerful. How many of you know about the "Sons and Daughters" program scandal? From 2006 to 2013, JP Morgan created a special fast-track hiring program that gave cushy internships and full-time jobs to the unqualified kids and relatives of powerful CCP officials and state-owned company bosses. They're collectively known as the "princelings." Bankers kept spreadsheets explicitly tracking which princeling hire led to which big deal. Hooking up the right connected kid suddenly brings you IPOs and investment banking business worth over $100 million in revenue in China. America's biggest bank systematically sold out its hiring standards to suck up to the Chinese regime's elite, bribing them with prestigious Wall Street jobs for their spoiled kids in exchange for lucrative contracts. This is textbook corruption. The US government called it what it was - violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and JP Morgan had to pay a $264 million fine to settle the scandal. For years, JP Morgan made billions in China. Dimon himself joked that JP Morgan would outlast the Communist Party. Now Xi has tightened capital controls, imposed more restrictions and retaliatory regulations, showed state favoritism toward SOEs, and the macroeconomic environment (slowing growth, property sector woes, etc.) has now changed so much that returns for US companies in China are diminishing while compliance and legal risks increase exponentially. So the cynic in me says this isn't a real Come to Jesus moment; that fateful decision to court and do business in China wasn't a well-intentioned error in judgement to "democratize and bring freedom to China." It was just greed. And now the taps have run dry and the bill is coming due for the rest of America.

"We made a huge mistake. And 'we' being business, government, and military." Jamie Dimon on China: "There was this general assumption they'd become more democratic and more free. And it didn't really happen that way." "Too many people were changing the supply chains just because they're buying a piece of equipment for $10 less." "Business was making a lot of money there and they were like, 'Leave me alone.' It was a mistake." "We need to say: 'Can we, if they ever become an adversary, have all the things we need?' Now's the time to do it." The Hill & Valley Forum 2026 @HillValleyForum @jpmorgan @ChairmanG

Today, Pope Leo @Pontifex visited the Great Mosque of Algiers and seemingly worshiped with a bunch of Muslims in Africa. Leo made this trip one day after his close Catholic Church confidants appeared on 60 Minutes in an interview attacking President Trump and his policies, most notably Trump’s actions of securing our border and standing up to Islamic terrorism in Iran, the same thing Leo himself has criticized Trump for doing. Oddly enough, Barack Hussein Obama’s @BarackObama’s top advisor, David Axelrod @davidaxelrod, brought an “entourage” to meet with the Pope on April 9th. Obviously, Team Obama has an obsession with supporting open borders, the IRGC, the Islamification of America, and hating President Trump. Is the American Pope going to give Team Obama a pass for being pro-abortion? Or is killing babies still taboo in the Catholic Church? They make it so hard to keep up… Remember, Obama (who is a Muslim originally born in Kenya) has close connections to Muslims in Africa via his father, who was also an African Muslim! Also, take into account that Pope Leo is from Chicago, where Obama launched his political career as a “community organizer”, and, well, there are just way too many coincidences at play… 🧐 It sure seems like the Catholic Church has become a political instrument of Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrats, and the left’s Islamic allies. Is this why the Catholic Church is so obsessed with pandering to Muslims these days? Is this why the Vatican now has a prayer room for Muslims???? How can a Pope praise Islam when Christians are the most persecuted people in the world, and they are being slaughtered all over Africa and the Middle East by MUSLIMS? Disgusting.
Loomer Unleashed@LoomerUnleashed

Barack Hussein Obama @BarackObama’s senior adviser David Axelrod @davidaxelrod went to Rome to meet with the Pope. The Vatican issued a press release announcing that Pope Leo XIV met with one of Obama’s closest confidants on April 9, 2026. Just a few days later, multiple members of the Catholic Church, including the Pope himself, began attacking President Trump and his policies. Who wants to be part of an institution loyal to Obama?
