What we're seeing is the most efficient run game the Bengals have had in the Zac Taylor era and you're seeing Joe Flacco in one of his best four game stretches in his CAREER. So the offense looks great together. Do we want to compare that to Burrow's best four game stretch of his career or are we only comparing it to the Burrow we see in September? Flacco will come back down to where he normally plays. But even at his best, the Bengals had a higher Passing Success Rate last season than they do this season (but it's close - 53.3% vs 52.1%)

I have never seen a QB railroaded more than Joe Burrow this year. LG gets walked back so the ball gets tipped twice for an INT. It's bad for the NFL product at large.

@JoeGoodberry I remember the 12-4 year they would always talk about Cincy having a home grown team. Kind of patting us on the back for hitting in the draft. Then we moved a bunch of people the coming off seasons and BAM we have the #1 overall pick. Seems like a never ending cycle Joe.

This isn't wrong but ultimately they have a Brown Family problem even more. Refuse to hire/fire people when they should at times. Settle for mediocrity. Refuse to get creative to create more salary cap space and add more talent to push the team over the top. Cannot get two big deals done in the same year because they don't have the "cash" for Escrow. The "cash" problem and how much these players get/want in guaranteed contracts in the modern NFL puts them at the back of the line for top talent in Free Agency as well. Continue to have a small scouting department because Mike Brown still wants to act like he is the man that should be drafting players which then leads to players drafted in the 2nd round like Jackson Carman that had no business going that high.

Excellent work here by Joe to highlight the absurdities in this NFL Live segment. This segment highlights the sheer incompetency of current, national sports media. Woefully inaccurate information disseminated in a needlessly emotional manner to the viewer.

@wlmshepard They don't talk to the media much and let much leak. That probably frustrates him, but also leaves him with ONLY info from the agent's side.
