I’ve absolutely noticed this. I’ve had to read multiple leadership books for promotions in the fire department. (Doesn’t mean they worked lol ). But I don’t remember one saying a leader should shut up and go along with disastrous policies so you can be considered a valuable follower to people you fundamentally disagree with. Maybe I missed that one.
