@LadeBackk Thanks for sharing. I’m curious to know which time frame do you use to define your opening range? I’ve read all of Dalton’s and Steidlmayer’s work, and they emphasized the first hour (initial balance) of the CME pit session.

March 2026 Trading accounts update: Took advantage of todays bounce and closed out a few positions to finish out the month strong. Today wound up being a record day for me @ $4008.20 and record month for me as well @ $64,054.37 (1) Kept scaling my strategies and am getting close to max optimization I think. Nothing is guaranteed in trading so I will continue to make adjustments along the way as needed. (2) Results are net profit after fees and commissions, and not including dividends for the month. (3) My trades are spread across multiple strategies including: option credit spreads, csp's, naked leap short puts, ditm buy/writes, covered calls and conversion trades. (4) Also have been adding to dividend ticker positions during the market pullback this month and will continue adding throughout the year while I still can. See everyone next month!

@StocksPilgrim So over time, does experience start to override the discomfort of uncertainty? Or do you just learn to tolerate it.

@TheVPApologist More than I can sum up here, but much of it is experience. Understanding the range, the IV, applying what I’ve seen in the price action in recent days, and finding confluence between intraday criteria and broader timeframe ideas.

Sometimes, everything goes exactly the way you planned it. I know many technical setups failed this morning-- this is why it's important to be able to think, not just react. If you won today, learn from it and keep going. If you lost today, learn from it and keep going. $SPY

Palantir. Broke out of downtrend & now forming bull flag on daily, also nice relative strength past few weeks. We have also reclaimed a major pivot level at $150.00 - $145.00 which we have also turned back into demand, risk for longs should be a break of demand/flag. $PLTR

I loved Alana. She clerked for one of my dear friends and she helped my clerks. One of the best floor stories is when she beat the bejesus out of a tough kid. The tough kid was a clerk for someone, he called her a C@&t, she snapped off a quick jab that set up the hook to the body,a quick upper cut on the chin followed by a straight right to the jaw. I was right in front of her and saw the whole thing. I was on pit committee, someone told me I had to write her up, I said I didn’t see shit and if persisted I would write him up. Lol. They had just put in state of the art camera system to help with out trades and other isssues. You had to have a legit reason to watch a tape. Alana’s recording of the trimming she dold out was the most watched film in CME history. The kid that caught the beating didnt hang around long. God rest your soul my sister. In the markets, spotting strength on any time frame requires patience. A V shaped recovery usually appears only when participation is severly offside. More often, strength shows up as stalled downside and rotation. That rotation reflects inventory being exchanged. Once absorbed, only then is price free to express higher. Cause takes time to build.
