"Live your truth" sounds harmless until two truths collide. The slogan does not free you from authority. It crowns desire as ruler, then leaves the strongest person in the room to decide whose desire wins. Christianity does not ask you to invent your truth. It calls you to face the One who is Truth. I, The Watchman, write about the slogans shaping our homes, churches, and sons. Christ is King.

Deut 22:28-29 = different scenario, different Hebrew verb (no force language), different law entirely. Two different cases, two different words, two different penalties. Read the Hebrew before the outrage.

Most people can believe God loves them if they think they deserve it. Problems arise when you feel you do not deserve God's love and yet desperately need it. God's love for you is perfect—and unconditional. When you fail He keeps loving you because His love is not based on you but on Him. Sin separated you from God, but He loved you so much He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for you so He could lavish His great love upon you. If you can believe that God, who is so perfect, loves you, then you can believe you are worth loving!
