Starbucks are banning pets so as to conform to their upcoming Halal accreditation.🤨 Absolutely disgusting.

It makes a lot of sense to cast a black woman as Helen. It makes sense for her to be both very beautiful and specifically beautiful in a way that Paris would have found exotic and unique. But racists don’t think about anything terribly deeply.

@19406jkr casting Matt Damon as Anansi would fundamentally alter a character whose identity is rooted in West African folklore. Meanwhile, changing details in a Greek myth already filled with cyclopses, witches, gods, monsters, prophecies, & magic isn’t the same thing as “rewriting history.”

Complaining that #TheOdyssey isnt historically accurate is like complaining that Captain America: The First Avenger isnt historically accurate. ITS MAKE BELIEVE ITS FICTION

@Movies_analyst I've seen this film many, many times, and that's the first time I've ever noticed the wipe. Probably because its a pretty intense scene and we're all concentrating on what the characters are doing.

In The Abyss (1989), the cameraman wipes the lens mid-scene, and James Cameron says "f*ck it", prompting the decision to keep the take, sometimes cited as a "f*ck it" moment. For years, many viewers mistook the hand for blurry foreground debris or cables.

A woman I called out last week for filming a man in the gym to make fun of him posted attacking me saying the only reason I did a video on her was because “she was black and I was racist”. I replied to her that the man I defended in the video was also black… and she blocked me. 😂

Table lamp in the shape of a Spitfire? Half timbered coffee machine? Jigsaws depicting the aftermath of the Black Death? A 1/72 replica of Hampton Court? A carved air fryer? Suit of armour for your toddler? A Queen Mother emblazoned dog coat? Oh, I'm nostalgic for Past Times.
