Okay I will reword because you did not say I hate women you said “stop acting like you care” when I do. I was asked to cover Wonder Woman and to help boost Stephanie Williams’s 2 issues on the title because folks wanted to spark change and I saw value in that and I still do. I will always give space to women and use my platform to help. It’s why I interviewed Stephanie Williams it’s why I interviewed Melissa Flores and had amazing discussions with both of them about being women of color in the industry. Just because the highlighting of Wonder Woman was a 1 episode thing, does not mean that there isn’t plans in the works to bring on more women, to bring on other Bipoc individuals, I was having a discussion with the founder of Women in comics collective last night for them to partner with us for stage 2 of #DCSoWhite so again I say, please stop acting like you know me when you don’t. If you would like to hop on a live and have a discussion? Cool let’s do it. Otherwise please stop acting as if you know my intentions and my plans to make this industry better for our people.

@W0NDEE_ it's also the title with the least chances of becoming a big thing. with absolute gl it's ongoing, part of a really famous lineup that just started two years ago. batman/static is a limited six issue run tie in to a relatively old animated show. it was never gonna be huge.

I’ve spent the past 6 months speaking out against the lack of diversity and the unfair treatment of black characters at a DC, I’ve had vile things said to me and slurs thrown at me because of this. Then out of NOWHERE I get a wave of hate from behind me of people who are upset that I am not counting the Absolute titles like Green Lantern and the upcoming Absolute Catwoman. And I’m fricken confused. Because last time I checked, I have said that AGL is great, And ACW looks promising BUT These are titles in an alternate universe. They are not mainline titles. We are in a world where we have only had 10 black ongoings in mainline continuity in ALMOST 50 years. Do you not see a problem with that? Do you not see the unfair treatment? And people last night were trying to throw Batman/Beyond in my face and say “oh well this is in a different universe but you supported that” yes because it’s the only static we had seen since Shadow Cabinet and before that it was Shadows of Dakota! There has never been an ongoing in mainline continuity for a black woman. Does that not bother you? Why are you worried about giving me push back for not going hard & championing AGL & ACW like that is going to guarantee a magical shift in comics where black folks will be represented better in mainline? Because we have no way of knowing that. You know what will? Calling out DC for their unfair treatment of black heroes. Holding their feet to the fire respectfully. That is what will get results So that is what we’re going to do. And if you care about the representation of black individuals, people of color in general, hell marginalized people in general, get on board. If not, I wish you the best. I’m gonna keep fighting

HOPE is an electrifying and batshit insane theater experience. Like if RRR was on crack cocaine laced with sci-fi and torched with jet fuel. The spectacle is incomprehensible in every way. It’s somehow War of the Worlds, Dune, and Alien wrapped up into one. Loved every second.
