You had guys like Steve Jobs and Gabe Newell say out loud that piracy was a service problem back in the 2000s and the comic industry still canโt figure that out , thereโs not even a single comic digital service that has language options other than english available

piracy exists because of an accessibility problem. even the people in the industry used that site. it was a big archive of work that you canโt even access officially. to call it a stain on the industry is deeply embarrassing.

The lack of empathy for folks who are outside of U.S. who can't buy comics is so harmful. It is rooted in America centrism which is very problematic. People in U.S. don't always have the money to buy comics, people are struggling right now. This take rooted in classism
