@fesshole I have stage 4 Bowel cancer (spread to ovaries, cervix, liver and lymph nodes) - diagnosed last year aged 51. Given 6-18 months. Palliative chemo only. I was completely accepting of my fate. However… now being put forward for huge ‘curative’ operation. Don’t give up hope. Xx

Recently received a terminal cancer diagnosis, and the serenity gained from so many things no longer being my problem is remarkable. I mean, I wouldn't recommend dying at 51, but it's not all bad.

It’s been my Birthday today! (Unbelievably 65!) . Stayed at the @TheFarmersClub in London with family and friends and had a lovely dinner, and walks around the city including an enjoyable climb to the top of #StPaulsCathedral which has amazing views of #London
