"Pudge" Rodriquez, Buster, and Mike Piazza. In that order. Never saw Johnny or Yogi as that was before my time. Josh Gibson of the Negro League belongs on my list just based on REP ALONE. Sadly hardly any film on him! Or much on Satchel Paige for that matter. The Negro League is a black hole of data, because of wrongful segregation, upon The Bigs purely because of the awesome talent they had and were never rightfully recognized for decades. 🙁

Excellent actor Popwell. Yes I knew his stuff and gave it a pass for playing different characters. Eastwood is known for hiring his buddies for his films. 👍👍

Took me years to realise Albert Popwell is in almost as many Dirty Harry films as Clint Eastwood… four out of five. And he’s a different character every time… a bank robber, pimp, militant leader and finally Harry's friend. Eastwood called Popwell his, "good luck charm."

I'm such a fudd. 🤓 Moi back in the day, obviously out in the forest, and yep...packing a 1911 .45 in hardball. Sadly checking out what I THINK is the spot of a shot-but-lost elk cow final resting place the year before. You hunt enough sooner or later you'll lose an animal. 😭☹️

I reload, so yeah no problem I can re-size a cartridge case and remove and place a new primer in. Make a "Blank" cartridge. It's easy as you don't add a powder charge, a bullet, and seat and crimp it. To show how the notorious P320 is KNOWN for discharges literally on it's OWN is this test! The safety glasses are the fired primer does and WILL emit small particles. Don't need that in your eye. The noise is minor. Small POP. This is safe. 👍👌

I’m often asked about the pegboard scene in VISION QUEST. That was all me. No stunt doubles or safety measures. I trained for a long time and had to climb it several times to get all the angles. The “trick” is not to over extend, so you’d be pulling up your entire body weight. You have to keep it compact.
