@brendangmcnally it all happened so fast at full speed trying to get to the ball, realising heaney got it first. for me it was a collision and had no impact on the shot that went wide. Yellow and free fair enough. Soccer analysis creeping into GAA unfortunately

Johnny Heaney got there first, took a shot at goal and they collided afterwards. He wasn't trying to run after it or go around the goalie. Johnny was very brave knowing he'd get taken out but still went for it. It's a tough sport and collisions happen.
