Garga Chatterjee is a scholar of rare caliber. He has MBBS degree from Medical College, University of Calcutta, Chatterjee He has done PhD from Harvard University in the Cognition, Brain and Behavior track at the Vision Sciences Lab headed by Professor Ken Nakayama. Now, he is an assistant professor at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. There are few Bengalis as educated and brilliant as he is. He would be better off simply focusing on his own research; what is the need to sacrifice his career and life for the sake of Bengal and the Bengali people? Do Bengalis themselves even want anyone to fight on their behalf? In the past, whenever he observed any decision detrimental to the interests of Bengal and Bengalis, he heavily criticized even the Trinamool Congress—and the Trinamool government itself. Then also he faced abuse back from a certain people. now he has gone so far as to be arrested yet, even after all this, a certain section of Bengalis continues to shower him with hatred. I would also urge the rest of the members of Bangla Pokkho: please stop. Is there really any need to invite trouble upon yourselves through all of this? @kachatterjee @Truth_of_WB

मेरे ट्वीट के माध्यम से Punjab National Bank की करतूत सामने आ गई, लाखों लोगों तक ट्वीट पहुँच गया. अब PNB वाले डैमेज कंट्रोल के लिए PR करा रहे है. मुझे ज्ञान दिया जा रहा है की ऑनलाइन के जमाने में चेक से पैसा निकालने क्यों गए थे ? तो उन्हें बता दूं की मुझे थर्ड पार्टी ने ₹1 लाख का पेमेंट किया था. तो हर हाल में बैंक से ही मुझे पैसे लेने थे. PR टीम का दूसरा आरोप ये है की मैंने ब्रांच का नाम सार्वजनिक नहीं, कहानी मनगढ़ंत है तो मैं साफ़ साफ़ बता दूँ साइबर क्राइम के इस जवाने में मैं नहीं चाहता की जिस बैंक में मेरा अकाउंट उसका ब्रांच नेम पब्लिक करूँ. बाकी DM और मेल के माध्यम से मैंने अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कर दी है. जिसमें ब्रांच कोड और IFSC कोड इत्यादि जरूरी प्वाइंट्स आलरेडी मेंशन कर दिया है. PR टीम का तीसरा आरोप ये है की आरबीआई की गाइडलाइन में अनुसार आपने बड़ी अमाउंट के लिए बैंक को एक दिन पहले सूचना देनी होती है. तो मैं स्पष्ट कर दूँ की ₹1 लाख कोई बहुत बड़ा अमाउंट नहीं है, उसके बावजूद बैंक वाले आना कानी कर रहे. मैनेजर ने प्राइवेट कर्मचारी के रूप में गुंडा पाल रखा है, जो ग्राहकों से दुर्व्यवहार करते है. डियर पीआर टीम, मेरे ख्याल से आपके सारे Doubts क्लियर हो गए होंगे. अब कोई दूसरे जवाब निकालो ताकि मैं प्रतिक्रिया दे सकूँ ! देश की करोड़ो की आबादी मेरे साथ है जो बैंक वालों के दुर्व्यवहार से परेशान और पीड़ित है. @pnbindia मामलें में कड़ी कार्यवाही न हुई तो कोर्ट जाऊँगा, ध्यान रखना ….

“Banks have found a new way to trouble people…” 😡 An elderly man walks into the bank with a cheque, hoping to withdraw his own money. But instead of helping him, the staff says — “Sorry, this cheque is invalid… the signature should’ve been a little higher.” The uncle tries to explain — “The signature is there… and there are even two signatures on the back from the party. Everything is correct.” Still, the bank refuses. Then he says something heartbreaking — “The person who gave me this cheque has already left… where am I supposed to find him now?” And the reply from the bank? “That’s not our problem.” Now just think about this… If the cheque is genuine… If the signature matches… If the account is valid… Then how does the cheque suddenly become “illegal” just because the signature is slightly lower on the paper? 🤔 This is exactly why common people feel harassed in banks. Customers are made to stand for hours in heat, sent back again and again for tiny technical excuses, while officials sit comfortably inside AC cabins. Rules are important. But humanity and common sense matter too. A bank should solve problems for customers… not create new ones. What do you think? Was the bank right… or was this unnecessary harassment of a customer?
