That true, but each branch has their own focus and what is profitable for them. While physical games may not be profitable for PlayStation, but for the Electronics division they still see profit in Vinyl players. There's not one mandate from the main HQ that they all have to follow the same views. You have Sony Music too which is still really big on physical media with making music CDs and anime Blu rays/merch. Because in that market it's still profitable. People really have to just understand that not all of Sonys branches follow the same direction.
