@rollin_raiders The fact you think the backlash is out of fear of TTU is comical. It literally has zero to do with it. ZERO! Most of the BigXII wants TTU to spend that money and compete because it HELPS the conference. This BS instead HURTS the conference.

The best thing Joey can do at this point is love Brendan unconditionally, let him back into the program / team full time for as much as the full year, & help Brendan prep for the NFL. But not play a down for Tech in ‘26-27. Either that, or burn the boats, and face the flames.

This mental health argument falls on deaf ears. He can have a gambling problem and not bet on CFB or his own team. That's the line he crossed. People would be a lot more forgiving if he fed his addiction through non CFB bets. But he didn't. That's what makes the defense ridiculous.

@BrennanBaxt That's an ignorant statement. It's not just the gambling, it's betting on CFB and his own team. Gambling can be the problem, what he was betting on takes it to another level. He wasn't just playing blackjack, betting on the NFL. Those may have been forgivable. This, not a chance.
