@louididdy @niccruzpatane @UnpluggedTesla These are Unplugged Performance UP-03 lightweight forged wheels in Satin Titanium finish. Popular upgrade for the Model 3 Performance — super strong, track-tested, and they look killer on the matte black.

The Model 3 Performance got just got an upgrade.
Well done, @UnpluggedTesla. These wheels look absolutely incredible. 🔥

@FanlessTech On my brother's old Asus laptop and an old Lenovo laptop I had, the jacks or plugs became worn and unreliable. They charged at a specific angle and disconnected when moved slightly. And those plugs are kinda non-standardized 😡
English

FSD would be twice as useful in neighborhoods if I could actually talk to the car and tell it which driveway to pull into, the same way I would with a person driving me home.
Right now, there isn’t really an input for telling Tesla what color the house is or giving it specific context like that. Google Maps is also notorious for putting pins on houses that aren’t actually yours.
It would be so cool if I could talk to the car while going down my street and say something like, “It’s the white house on the left, just past that SUV,” and then have FSD remember that for next time.

@Digitalformedx @SawyerMerritt The Fremont plant still manufactures Model 3 and Y
English

No more Tesla vehicles from that plant? I thought the Teslas were selling out faster than they could make them.
And the robots are going to be bought up by who?
Again, Elon better hire a million techs to fix those robots as the training is going to take a while and once the robots go world wide and there are no repair shops around, people will be pissed off wanting their money back.
So now all the IT guys and engineers have to retrain for the new robotist tech jobs.

@EU_Commission Making safety systems mandatory is one thing. Making sure they actually work is another. Time to let Tesla FSD operate Europe-wide.

@glugalug @mrtimer2022 On pre-refresh Model Y (2024 and before), the trunk lid/lift gate is made of steel. On Juniper Model Y (Feb 2025 and after), it's made of aluminum.
English

@mrtimer2022 Bullshit.
There is nothing metal in the back of a model Y other than the license plate. The only external part of the car a magnetic bumper sticker will pull to are the rear quarter panels on the sides.
English

How smooth a ride is FSD?
FSD just saved my phone.
I’m building a gazebo in the backyard… was using our Model Y’s rear end as a ‘table’ for reading the virtual instructions on my phone.
While looking for a tool, my wife left to go pickup my older son.
She didn’t notice my phone on the tailgate area.
I had been distracted… not really paying attention to her departure.
Suddenly, my heart dropped.
Where was my phone?
I looked in the garage, I looked in the kitchen. Surely it wasn’t on the car, right?
But I couldn’t find it!
I instructed my other son to call her while I quickly darted down the road… expecting to find my phone cracked and lying on the side of the road or in a ditch at the first turn or two out of our neighborhood.
Nothing.
I ran home, sweating and panting from the Texas heat.
As I walked in my kid had a grin.
Did he find it?
Nope… but she had.
7 minutes of driving and 4.3 miles of distance, my phone had ridden on the tailgate of our Tesla… with FSD driving.
There was a very slight magnetic pull from the phone case… but not enough to keep the phone from sliding all around… just enough to keep it from toppling over the edge.
The phone should have slid right off the car during one of the turns the car made… or each time it accelerated… even onto a highway entrance ramp.
My wife got the call from my son while going 60+ mph and exited immediately.
My son told her she was wasting her time to check the car. No way could it still be there.
Both were absolutely shocked when she found it like this.
FSD had driven the car so smooth and steady… that the phone had remained on the car the entire time.
Now for full disclosure, my wife likes to ride in ‘Chill’ mode… so perhaps that contributed. But she had moved it to ‘Standard’ before the highway.
So either way it was a small miracle.
Thank you @Tesla for building a car with an ai brain so comfortably smooth, that it saved my phone from certain destruction! @yunta_tsai @aelluswamy

@metrolosangeles I live in Anaheim and the last Metrolink train on the OC Line from LA Union to Anaheim ARTIC Station is at 16:27. This just doesn't work since I'm staying in LA till later. And if I park at a station in LA, then I have to pay for parking anyways. It sucks.

With the arrest of Micheal Buttler, more info is coming out about the crash.
1. Butler was awake, coherent and stable with no serious injuries at the hospital after the crash. Despite this, he told officers he “remembers nothing before the crash” 🤔
2. Data from the vehicle shows that the Tesla was operating in self-driving mode and approaching a stop sign. The car’s self-driving software has already started slowing for the stop sign. The driver then overruled the system’s decision to slow down by pressing the accelerator pedal, putting control of the car in the hands of the driver rather than the car’s AI.
3. The accelerator pedal was pressed, increased to 67% pressed, and then increased to 100% pressed
4. Data from the car shows the brake pedal was never pushed to stop the car.
5. No data indicated that the driver tried to turn away from the crash
6. Officers found Google search history on his phone for search terms such as “FSD not aggressive enough” and “FSD too timid for city driving”.
7. The affiant concludes Butler’s alleged conduct showed “extreme frustration” with the Tesla’s FSD not driving aggressively enough — essentially being too safe — that he overrode it by pressing the accelerator, and that he caused the death of Martha Avila by “failing to brake, failing to control speed, driving off the road, driving towards a house, and driving into and through a house.”
