@_Caitlin_B We hear you, it’s always our aim to keep carry-on bags with customers! Bags are checked and sized during the boarding process. However, many factors, such as weight and balance requirements and the load factor on the day of travel, may not allow for such.

@AmericanAir I will never understand why you all advertise and allow us to bring a carry on and then make us check our bags last minute to hopefully get it to our final destination
