How about this? Let the community have the bastard. Let them deal with it. If we were “really” culturally aware, the incident only involves indigenous people, it occurred in an indigenous community and they seem willing and able to deliver the justice the scumbag deserves.

Alice Springs Supermarket Hit Hard
Whilst the chaos was unfolding down the road at the hospital and service station a supermarket was hit hard.
Pigglys supermarket was broken into and a large amount of alcohol was stolen
The rear door was smashed .
25 to 30 people were running into the store through the smashed back door.
They were running in and out with arms full of alcohol
The owners arrived but police and security could not attend due to what was going on at hospital .
They had to secure with pallets and forklift to stop them getting in.
And as they were doing this they were still trying to get in throwing cans etc
A very scary night for these businesses owners
The bottle shops are closed today but there is plenty on the streets

Get mad Australia..this is how little 5 year old Sharon Granites, an aboriginal clearly neglected child. Now her ‘family’ want us to call her “Kumanjayi Little Baby” can’t have an aboriginal child called Sharon.
Her grandmother was illegible today at her press conference, her grandfather, at least sober, slightly more intelligible.
Just look at the squalor this poor child spent her last night in, third world..I’m unsure if fourth world exists..look at the bed she was taken from, this is disgusting..this Labour Government espouses how much we do and pay for our First Nations people, but little actually reaches them, I know, I’ve spent days with welfare workers.
Look at the bed she sleeps in, look at the proudly displayed empty Jim beam bottles…look at the damp and dank conditions this little girl lived in. Where’s mum..who knows, where’s dad? It’s a lucky child who knows her own father..
Taken by a predator released from prison only a week earlier, with her mother no where, and her grandfather recounting, clearly drunk, describing when he last saw her. Thus neglected child’s death, and I shudder to think of her final moments, is at the hands of this and past governments..too busy being woke and ineffective .
My goodness, I hate myself for thinking this poor innocent little child’s suffering is over.
Fuck this Government failure. Fuck fuck fuck you Albo.

Can I not suggest that the lack of responsibility taken by her parent/parents or other family members be a contributing factor . I sleep well knowing my child is safe and not at risk of harm

I have a four-year-old niece. She sleeps in a beautiful bedroom, decorated in her favourite shades of pink and pale mauve. Every night there’s a bath, complete with the mandatory bath bomb, and she’s tucked into bed by parents who love her.
When she visits Poppie and Lou Lou, there’s another bedroom waiting, warm, safe, full of toys.
But this isn’t the reality for many little Indigenous girls growing up in town camps in the Northern Territory.
They live in squalor. No bedrooms. No clean sheets. Just filthy mattresses on the floor. They’re surrounded by empty alcohol bottles, stained walls, and too often, violence.
This is Australia.
And every year, billions are spent on Indigenous communities. Yet we tiptoe around the truth, too afraid of being labelled racist, too afraid to question what’s happening on the ground, and so nothing changes for these children.
Authorities hesitate, fearful of repeating the mistakes of the past, of being accused of creating another “Stolen Generation.” But leaving children in harm’s way isn’t protection, it’s abandonment.
Because if they survive, too many grow up into the same conditions they were raised in.
And thus the cycle continues.
At some point, this stops being about politics, fear, or optics, and starts being about responsibility. Govt’s must be held to account for where the money goes and what it actually delivers. And it’s on all of us to have the courage to call this out and demand better.

@DrewPavlou Where was their concern before she was taken? It’s too late now. While he was the perpetrator, they should all be examine themselves about the way they left a vulnerable child in that position. Complacency is not defendable, they must all accept some responsibility here

BREAKING: The man believed to have abducted and murdered innocent five year old Aboriginal Australian child Sharon Granites was released from prison early on bail despite having been imprisoned at least 4 separate times for violent offences over the past 10 years. Justice for Sharon Granites. This is an appalling criminal justice failure. “The ABC has confirmed that over the past decade, Mr Jefferson Lewis has been sentenced to more than five years in prison, for separate, serious violence-related offences. Most recently, he served an 18-month sentence after he pleaded guilty in October 2024 to aggravated assault, engaging in conduct that contravened a domestic violence order, and breaching bail. While already in prison, he was sentenced to a further three months for another count of engaging in conduct that contravened a domestic violence order, and for resisting police. Earlier on, in 2022, he was sentenced to 11 months on separate aggravated assault charges, for which he served eight months and was then released on a good behaviour bond. In 2018, Mr Lewis was sentenced to 19 months in prison, with a non-parole period of 14 months, on four counts including two charges of aggravated assault. In 2016, he was sentenced to 12 months behind bars after pleading guilty to aggravated assault.”

If Kumanjayi Little Baby was a white child, abducted 🍇ed & murdered; Guaranteed child welfare services would there removing the other children & the inquest would be asking serious questions about child safety in that community.
Literal White guilt contributed to this death.

Hundreds of the local mob have surrounded the hospital demanding they bring him out so they can get their own justice. Personally, I think they should let the community deal with him. Our justice system is useless, he will say he has mental health issues & they will just release him again. Bring back the Death penalty for ANYONE that intentionally harms a child 😡
