Yes there are kids playing travel/grassroots ball that are highly unlikely to receive an athletic scholarship.
But what if a kid just wants to hoop competitively all Spring and Summer with friends and travel with each other? And is willing to take a financial loss for the experience.

A powerful winter storm is set to dump FEET of snow across parts of the Midwest this weekend into early next week.
The heaviest snowfall is currently forecast from Minnesota through Wisconsin and into northern Michigan, where widespread totals of 8–16+ inches are possible with locally higher amounts. Cities that could see major impacts include Minneapolis, Duluth, Green Bay, and Marquette, where travel could become extremely difficult.
