Over the course of the campaigns, I addressed 143 rallies across 153 districts, engaging directly with our people in what I found to be consultative and celebratory gatherings. The elections have clarified the real balance of forces in Uganda. The strength and membership of the NRM demonstrate overwhelming national support. Even as we acknowledge outstanding issues such as UPE gaps, corruption, feeder roads and shortages of drugs in health centres, the Movement remains firmly rooted among the people. As we resolve these issues, our support will only grow stronger.
