A Hindu man had gone rafting in the Ganga River in Rishikesh. Some peaceful people were also in the same rafting boat with him. When he asked everyone in the boat to say “Ganga Maa ki Jai”, all those peaceful people went silent. Not a single one of them said “Ganga Maa ki Jai.” What kind of people are these? They want to go rafting and enjoy themselves in the holy Ganga River, which is sacred and deeply connected to the faith of Hindus. Yet they still cannot even say “Ganga Maa ki Jai.”

VD Satheesan is the new Chief Minister of Keralam State. Many Congress leaders and MLAs from Keralam wanted KC Venugopal to become next CM of Keralam. Congress doesn't have the majority on its own in Keralam. Indian Union Muslim League is supporting them with 22 MLAs. Muslim League preferred VD Satheesan over KC Venugopal and Congress had to listen to them. VD Satheesan is not the choice of Congress but IUML. Muslim League is controlling everything in Keralam.

@sushantsareen Maybe there is minimal risk that’s taken care of with this. They wouldn’t have done without an assessment. Or, it’s just for a reel for public consumption.

PM needs to stop virtue signalling. Convoys and security protocols and arrangements should be based on threat perception. PM and HM are in high risk and shouldn’t compromise on security. All other ministers can make do with even one vehicle. State ministers and babus should not get more than one vehicle. These people should not travel with an army of attendants and hanger ons. Put an end to that even if there was no austerity.
