@SANDEJAQ Jaqueline. Both houses passed CAB3 without breaking a sweat. The courts are predictable. The opposition barely breathes. The army stands firmly with the sitting president. Now, with all that laid out so plainly, do you truly think the people still stand a chance to win?

Birth control won’t fix poverty, that’s a lie. Fight unjust policies. Zimbabwe’s indigenization law choked FDI, and high taxes (15% VAT, 40% income tax, 2% IMTT) compound costs, inflating prices. Lower taxes, attract investment. Depopulation isn’t the answer. Policy reform is.

I think it would be wise for the Government to introduce a law that encourages responsible family planning. For example, households earning US$500 or less per month could be encouraged to limit the number of children they have to two, so that parents can better provide for their families and ensure children have access to adequate food, education, healthcare and other basic needs.

@nelsonchamisa Interesting!! The bill has passed. President ED is soon to sign it and make it official. So are you creating a movement to fight in 2031 elections? Or are you just buying time? What is your position, because neutral is not an option anymore.

Fellow Zimbabweans, comrades, and all who love this nation,I speak to you today not as a politician seeking power, but as a retired Lieutenant General who has spent decades in uniform defending the sovereignty and dignity of Zimbabwe. I have seen war, I have commanded troops, I have studied systems of order, discipline, and national command at the highest levels. What I see now pains me deeply.Zimbabwe is under siege. Not from foreign armies on our borders, but from within from the disastrous leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the destructive Zvigananda cabal. Their rule has brought economic strangulation, institutional decay, corruption on an industrial scale, and a complete breakdown of the very systems that once held this country together. The people are suffering. The military ethos of service, sacrifice, and national interest has been replaced by greed, factionalism, and personal enrichment. Zimbabwe does not need more of the same. We need a leader who truly understands what it means to be President. We need a leader who understands command. We need a leader who understands systems how to build them, how to enforce them, and how to make them work for the nation rather than against it. That leader is General Constantino Chiwenga.General Chiwenga is not a civilian politician who learned about power from textbooks or foreign handlers. He is a soldier’s soldier. He has commanded divisions. He has managed complex operations under pressure. He understands chain of command, accountability, logistics, and strategic decision-making. These are not abstract concepts to him they are the tools he has used his entire adult life to protect Zimbabwe.A president must command respect from the security sector, not fear it or be captured by it. A president must impose order on chaos, not preside over it. A president must build and defend functional systems in the economy, in governance, in the civil service, and in national security. General Chiwenga has demonstrated he possesses exactly that capacity. The current arrangement under Mnangagwa and the Zvigananda has failed. It has failed the veterans, it has failed the youth, it has failed the ordinary citizen who simply wants to work, eat, and live in peace. Zimbabwe cannot continue on this path of managed decline. It is time for a return to disciplined, system-driven leadership. It is time for a leader who knows how to command. It is time for General Constantino Chiwenga. I, Retired Lieutenant General Winston Sigauke Mapuranga, make this call not out of personal ambition, but out of love for the uniform I once wore and the country I still serve in my retirement. The choice before us is clear: continued siege under weak, self-serving rule or decisive, structured leadership that can actually deliver results.Zimbabwe deserves better. Zimbabwe needs General Chiwenga. May God protect and guide our nation. Retired Lieutenant General Winston Sigauke Mapuranga.

@SajeniMapuranga @kerinamujati @LynneStactia @Jamwanda2 @Muswatadzi What goes around comes back around. You guys made headlines floating that straitjacket crap at the expense of the populace. Now CAB3 is that very straight jacket, tightening by the day, and you're busy, throwing tantrums. Famba CAB3. Ma general haana basa aya.

I am in shock at the death of Cde Victor Matemadanda. I speak not as a politician but as a man who served in the liberation war and watched brothers-in-arms give their lives for this country. What has happened to Victor Matemadanda is not an ordinary death. This was an assassination. Cde Matemadanda was one of us a political commissar, a key figure in the 2017 events, and a man who understood what it means to stand for principle. He is now dead vomiting after a family meal and dying at West End Clinic within hours. That is not the pattern of natural illness; that is consistent with poisoning. The same network that targeted Cde Blessed Geza appears to have taken Matemadanda. Geza was in regular contact with allies and was promised army support for a planned revolt promises that never materialized. Cde Geza was surveilled. Cde Matemadanda who sympathized with General Chiwenga, opposed CAB3, and urged ZANU–PF MPs to reject what he called a constitutional theft has been eliminated. CAB3 is the death certificate of Zimbabwe’s democracy. It abolishes direct presidential elections and effectively extends President Mnangagwa’s term to 2030 without a referendum, without ballots, and without the people. General Chiwenga was conspicuously absent from that Politburo session; that absence was not accidental it was a statement. Cde Matemadanda was monitored from the day he received his ambassadorial appointment. He knew he was a target. In 2020 he warned “they want me dead” after an alleged poisoning at a meeting he survived then. This time, they succeeded. The pattern is unmistakable: liberation war veterans are being purged. Cde Geza was expelled,Cde Matemadanda is dead, Retired Rugeje narrowly survived car crashes. This is not internal party discipline; this is systematic elimination. We did not fight for this. We fought for a Zimbabwe where brothers do not poison brothers over power. Retired Lieutenant General Winston Sigauke Mapuranga.

@citezw No referendum is needed. Over 90% of Zimbos proposed, supported, & drove this initiative through widespread consultations & public will. Subjecting it to a vote would only delay progress, waste taxpayers’ money, & pander to the dissenting 10%. This is authentic bottom-up reform

@DMwonzora @nelsonchamisa We don't need to wait for time to tell. Chamisa is astute, very astute. He doesn't need me to make informed and strategic choices. Speaking for myself, and you can take this to your vault, I will not take over or rather I will not seek 2 take over in 2024 or at any other time

@matinyarare The President shall sign. It's an ultimatum to him by the masses. The exact same forces who secured the victory in 2018 & 2023 plus those deserting the broken opposition including @hwendec support CAB3. He shall absolutely sign. We demand him there.

Dr, until we sit down for our roundtable, I think it is too early for you to write me off. I still think that I may surprise you by giving you angles on CAB3 that you have not considered. You convinced me of the error in my personal attacks on the President and First Lady, and you got me to apologize. I think I might still change your mind on a few issues with CAB3. Anyway, let the contest continue. That is democracy after all. My question though, Ambassador: do you believe that you will get the prerequisite votes in Parliament? And if you do, do you think the President will sign it, considering that he said he does not want to stay after his tenure?
Dr P Tungwarara, Presidential Advisor@paultungwarara

My Response to Matinyarare’s Apology Thank you very much, Cde Matinyarare, for the apology to the President, HE President ED Mnangagwa, the First Lady, and the First Family. You have shown great courage in owning up to your mistakes and misinformation. However, on CAB3 we differ, though I respect your democratic views. As a brother, I am proud to tell you that CAB3 is unstoppable. I am glad you opposed CAB3 just like a few opposition MPs. Your opposing views on the bill actually work in our favor, because now you cannot go around claiming that you pushed this bill through. The majority of Zimbabweans are rallying behind this beautiful bill. Be reminded that “major pars praevalet”—the majority view triumphs over the minority view. #CAB3
