@Arkypatriot Going to a state college in a state we lived in, we were not required to live in the dorms, I rented right down the street. 300.00 bucks a month and that included utilities 3 bedrooms 1 bath, I had a basement with a washer and dryer and a full back yard.

College dorms in the 70s: No private bathroom. No air conditioning. One payphone down the hall. A shared TV room if you were lucky. And somehow we survived without filing a complaint, starting a podcast, or calling it trauma. Who else remembers dorm life before “amenities” became a personality?

I hate tomorrow and it isn't even here....6 years ago tomorrow I lost my best friend. My 1st love from childhood. Growing up as next door neighbors, doing everything together including a prom when I didn't have a date. He was my agravator, my snack buddy, my homework doer when I couldn't get it right, the biggest pain in my ass in my entire life and also my biggest champion and hero. He was there thru my 3 bad marriages, and I was there thru his failed relationships. We always had each other no matter what. 5 years ago the govt and his employers murdered him with a mandatory vaccine. He died on a ventilator that he begged them not to put him on. His gf at the time had no say. They put him on it and within 48 hours he was gone. His kids couldn't get there in time to even argue. This is why I hate the govt and anyone who pushes vaccines. You can all gfys.

VIRGINIA UPDATE (See my earlier posts about vote counts going backwards in Virginia if you haven't see them.) Chesterfield County is reporting that the removed votes was a simple clerical error where some early votes were double entered, nothing to see here. 72,000 votes. Whoops. OK, so now I want to know these 2 things from Chesterfield, and you should as well. 1. Who got fired over this unacceptable mistake? 2. When are the retraining sessions scheduled for your county election employees, because obviously they need it? I repeat those questions for any other county with "mistakes" in the thousands. Once again, you can play with the data from the election at votedatabase.com/2026, choose Virginia, unknown party (as it was nonpartisan) then "statewide" or whatever county you want, then the referendumb.
