1/ Bitcoin’s UTXO system is the bedrock of sound money. But what if we could reimagine Unspent Transaction Outputs as Virtual UTXOs (VTXOs) for programmability, scale, and lightning-fast settlements, all without leaving behind Bitcoin’s base layer security with proofs? 🧵👇

The latest research from the Bitcoin Policy Institute tested 36 frontier AI models across 9,072 monetary scenarios to see what money autonomous agents would choose. The signal was clear: agents overwhelmingly favored digitally native money, and Bitcoin came out on top overall. When it came to preserving value long-term, Bitcoin dominated by a wide margin. For payments and day-to-day transactions, stablecoins led, with Bitcoin ranking second. The real question is whether Bitcoin can become the base layer for agentic commerce. That requires rails where agents can transact, settle, rebalance, and run strategies directly on sats without leaving Bitcoin’s native security model. That’s the infra Tachi is building toward.

Satoshi Nakamoto designed Bitcoin around one simple rule. Don’t trust. Verify. Thousands of nodes validate every BTC transaction to keep the network secure. But the moment BTC moves through a bridge…that rule quietly breaks. @tachi_btc is building a way to extend Bitcoin’s utility without giving up that security. Let’s discuss. 🧵

All serious builders for agentic on-chain projects should check out @DAIAAlliance. a big thanks to @loukerner for shoutout on TACHI's raise through CryptoMondays, this community support means a lot! @Dannyhbrown's Bankr talk was a sharp breakdown of agentic crypto infra. Agents fundamentally can't keep secrets, so you need managed wallet architectures, not raw private keys, is a real design principle for us. From @tachi_btc lens, that's why we're bringing TAURUS on Bitcoin: threshold signatures where agents operate within cryptographic boundaries without full key access, and users always keep a unilateral exit. Danny is solving this at the wallet layer on EVM, we're solving it at the protocol layer on Bitcoin. Hugo from Tether was super interesting. The sovereign local AI push and the "if Tether disappears tomorrow the system keeps running" philosophy mirrors exactly how we think about protocol design. Excited to see where QVAC and Bitcoin-native agent settlement could connect. --- big picture: 1 Dev - 1 Agent companies needing instant capital is exactly the kind of economy that needs robust sovereign infra underneath it. Excited to explore this next month in DAIAA's AI on Bitcoin subgroup. Thanks Lou for keeping DAIAA growing! See everyone next time.

WOW!! Today's 14th General Meeting featured @Dannyhbrown COO of @bankrbot, the dominant wallet on @Base and elsewhere used by AI agents to transact. Mind blown!! bit.ly/DAIAAGM14YT

I'll add one thing: it matters which network. Agents need money that is sovereign, programmable + settles on the most trusted ledger. wBTC on an alt chain doesn't get you there. Wrapped tokens are single points of failure that autonomous systems can't afford. Bitcoin with native programmability does. That's what we're building at Tachi

Ben Horowitz on the infrastructure behind the AI economy: "Crypto is the natural money for AI because it’s internet-native money." "AI is global. Crypto is global." "There needs to be not just a ledger of money, but probably a ledger of truth for AI to really fulfill its potential." "I think people are probably underestimating how crypto and AI work together to form the AI economy." "Networks and computers tend to grow together, and I think that AI is obviously a new kind of computer and crypto is a new kind of network." @bhorowitz on Moonshots with @PeterDiamandis

an agent provisioning infra over Lightning + paying with its own wallet is a great milestone- but payments are just the start. If BTC is going to power the agentic economy, it needs *truly programmable, self-custodial settlement. That’s what we’re building at @tachi_btc: a UTXO-native agentic execution layer.

I'll be at @SatoshiRoundtbl this week. If you are a fellow Bitcoiner who truly believes in repatriating the BTC economy back to Bitcoin, happy to catch up and co-host a session for devs and treasury folks 🙏 Let's talk @tachi_btc: BTC's 1st agentic infra layer. It enables HODLers, institutions, agents to 1) run sat-denominated smart contracts + 2) optimize yield on self-custodial Bitcoin without bridges, wrapped tokens, or custodians.

Institutional BTC portfolios face a growing opportunity cost. Over 4M BTC now sits across treasuries. But most of it remains largely non-productive. The roadblock: native rails are missing for smart contracts and yield on self-custodial Bitcoin.👇🧵

Sadhguru already shared the yogic insights that are now echoed by Roger Penrose's 'Conformal Cyclic Cosmology' Sadhguru's long said that we've had 83 cosmic cycles of creation/dissolution, and this is the 84th such happening. + ancient Puranas described endless kalpas.

Bitcoin isn’t just something you hold anymore : it’s becoming financial infrastructure. The AI economy is scaling fast, and Bitcoin can be its home base. What it needs: execution rails that preserve Bitcoin’s native security - self-custodied BTC, no wrappers, no custodians, no bridges

The CZ/Schiff debate was painful to watch. So many missed killshots. > Schiff is pitching "tokenized gold" (an IOU with counterparty risk), claiming Bitcoin has no utility. Wrong. > BTC is backed by the massive accrued energy network to guarantee final, uncensorable settlement. > That's the utility.jpg > (Schiff holding a gold bar and admitting he couldn’t verify its purity without a lab, inadvertently proved Bitcoin's thesis)
