@realMarkHobart It is clear they are putting off the trial as long as they can. This suggests they are trying to avoid it. As the saying goes "the process is the punishment". Hopefully @DrBillyBay case goes well and provides a good template for yours.

I finally have a date for my VCAT trial: 10 -12 June 2025 lasting 3 days. I was charged with professional misconduct and being a danger to the public on 11 November 2021 for issuing covid medical exemption certificates not according to the requisite criteria, providing covid misinformation and not following the covid safe directions correctly. In July 2022 in an appeal to the Supreme Court of Victoria I asked the Judge to tell AHPRA to send me for a trial to determine my guilt or innocence and return my patients files which they had removed without permission or a warrant from my clinic but my case was dismissed and AHPRA told the court they did not have my files. AHPRA did not did not decide to refer me to VCAT until 26 May 2023 and did not formally refer me to VCAT until the Victorian Supreme Court of appeal told them to in November 2023 following my appeal to them. I then complained that AHPRA misled the Supreme Court in July 2022 as they suddenly produced my patients files in December 2023 which they previously said they did not have. So they had to apologise in my VCAT summary dismissal case in July this year with a view to clearing this matter up later. For unknown reasons it took until now to establish a court date. I look forward to having my say in court almost four years after my suspension.

Australia has rejected Candace Owens’ visa application - with immigration minister Tony Burke explaining the decision by saying she has the “capacity to incite discord”. What rubbish. There are many controversial views and speakers out there. The way to sort the good ideas from bad, the true from the false, is through open discussion and debate, not censorship. 1/3 out of three correct and that is that Labor loses in Regions. Katter party not likely to pick up seats and may have lost one in Mirani. One Nation did not win any seat. As a progressive you will no doubt be interested to know the Greens look like lost their two inner city seats and LNP and Labor both happy about that as looks like they picked up one each.
