James Cleverly spoke on the @lewis_goodall show about anti-Islam protests in his constituency. I am a councillor in Braintree. If Cleverly spent any time in his constituency, he'd know these protesters were shipped in from other locations

Interesting that Labour want to name one of their New Towns after Mary Seacole - she was essentially unknown until the left recently seized on her as part of their efforts to try and re-write our history

2012. 'Comedian' Jimmy Carr was involved in a 'legal' tax avoidance scheme. There was public/media outcry. Carr apologised. He pulled out of the scheme. He paid the tax bill of £500k. Richard Tice avoided £600k in taxes. Where is the media coverage? #BBCBreakfast #GMB #r4today

@jk_rowling I know a lot of c!s-gendered, middle-aged women who look like her. A lot of the trans conversation comes down to who we do and don't find attractive, which isn't helpful

Western society is currently divided between people who know this is a man and are prepared to say so and those who know this is a man but lie out of obedience to an ideology. There is no third option. Literally nobody on earth thinks "Roxanne Tickle" is actually a woman.

@Blesiv201 @Robust_Assist Thanks Linda. Thankfully, I realised it was a scam before handing over my bank details. I have informed my bank and reported them to the authorities

@HelloFreshUK I’ve been a loyal customer. A voucher bought for me did not state "new accounts only" at purchase or on the card. When I called, you refused to honour or refund it. This appears contrary to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please resolve or I’ll move to @goustocooking

@ThomasALDiamond @labourball Without planning reform that can be incredibly difficult. Council run developers often get downed by one tricky project so often don't take the risk

Labour strangling housebuilding right as a wave of Greens are set to make local election gains. If I were a London landlord I would be quietly confident that my tenants won't be off to buy a house anytime soon...
Emma Revell@emmamrevell

Nearly quarter of a million Londoners live in temporary accommodation. Average rent for a one-bed is over £1,300. The capital saw just 4,170 new homes begin construction last year - a city of 9 MILLION people. And what is our beloved mayor doing? Making things worse.

Free college is not "free." It has a cost. And that cost is passed onto you in taxes. Worse, when everyone has a degree, no one is special for it. It's just another generic resume item.

@_PigginTeaBreak @TharriesYT The first 1/2 of your sentence I agree with. However, not everyone could do it. Corbyn was exceptionally good at rallying the left in '17 (not awful in '19). Sadly, he also rallied the right behind the Tories. People only left the Tories because they were comfortable with Starmer

@ThomasALDiamond @TharriesYT Polling found that a majority of people voted Labour to get the Tories out, anyone could’ve been in Starmer’s place and they would’ve won.

You won by default because the conservatives imploded, frankly any Labour leader would've won in 2024 (Corbyn got more votes than Starmer as you know), stop pretending there was mass enthusiasm for Starmer and accept that you are squandering the easiest majority ever won.
Luke Akehurst@lukeakehurst

@SaulStaniforth Well we did very recently return Labour to power with over 400 seats. Neither the Hard Left nor Soft Left, who both had shots at it, has proven capable of winning a General Election.

@_PigginTeaBreak @TharriesYT A little glib perhaps, but I'm making a serious point. I'm on the left of the party but I'll still admit Labour tends to win when it's in a more central position. To say that it's just a coincidence that Labour happens to be more moderate when it wins is a bit of a reach
